Migrating data from old software

Moving to a new system usually fails at the old data, and staff stay on Excel. We handle the whole migration:

• Moving items, customers, suppliers, opening balances and open invoices from Excel or old software.
• Cleaning the data before migration: unifying names, removing duplicates and fixing gaps.
• Reconciling balances after migration, with a report showing the new system matches the old one.
• A short parallel run when needed before the old system is switched off.

How we make sure the integration is right

• We test the integration on sample data before running it on your real data.
• A log of every transaction that moves between systems, so you know what happened and when.
• If one system goes down, transactions are kept and retried automatically, and an alert is sent.
• The same transaction is never recorded twice.

Do you work with clients outside Oman?

Yes. We are based in Muscat with a branch in Sharjah, and we work remotely with clients in the Gulf, Egypt and around the world: meetings, reviews and delivery happen online and over WhatsApp.

Does the integration work with any system?

With any system that offers an integration interface (API) or file export and import. We check your systems and tell you what is possible before we start.

Is all the old data migrated?

We agree with you on what is migrated: usually opening balances and open transactions, and the full archive when needed.

What if one of the systems changes later?

We monitor the integration and update it when the connected systems change, under a support contract that fits the size of the integration.
